Frieze Art Fair
We introduced a touch of the luscious Regent’s Park landscape into Frieze Art Fair with three bespoke pop-up eateries for Gail’s.
Taking inspiration from the location of the fair, the concept behind the project was to bring elements of the surrounding environment into each of the unique spaces.
The first outlet had more traditional feel, decorated with custom designed wallpaper containing motifs of trees and leaves; a two dimensional representation of the park outside evoking the spirit of the landscape and still life paintings featured at the fair.
A second space was created with a much more contemporary feel, adorned with foliage in large triangular planters to create a vertical green space.
Finally a third area coined ‘GAIL’s in the Park’, offered a more intimate space enclosed by a canopy of plants, created by a net of planters suspended by the roof. A planted sign of the logo was also designed and grown, embracing the concept further.
The texture and colours of the flora and fauna throughout the spaces break up the monochrome graphic motifs to enhance the contemporary feel of the pop-ups.
