A new concept coffee shop and restaurant in the idyllic town of Melton provides for the new home of Honey & Harvey. Serving the same locally sourced fresh sandwiches, cakes and pastries found in the Woodbridge cafe, we have sought to bring a sense of modernity whilst local to our interior approach.
Based on the reimagined Suffolk Vernacular, we have looked to create the second Honey & Harvey transforming the site at the new Riduna Park development next to Melton Station. Charred timber and copper counters with terracotta and concrete make reference to local building materials bringing a sense of the nearby architectural context of the project. Bringing a sense or heritage and material quality to an otherwise new building was our aim to create a new sense of soul to an existing commercial unit whilst touching on undertones of the locally sourced food.
