Kentish Town

Enjoying a prominent corner location on Kentish Town Road, this dilapidated Georgian property has been transformed into an artisan bakery .

The building required significant structural works to convert the claustrophobic cellular spaces into a light, airy open plan.

Rather than concealing the scars of the building work, instead they have been expressed and celebrated using materials such as dark timber, aged brass and rattan. In addition to this, original timber window surrounds have been achingly restored, including the shopfront.
