It's that time! The Museum of Architecture brings its hugely popular Gingerbread City exhibition to Somerset House and it opens to the public tomorrow! 🎄
This year our project proposes a hybrid farmers’ market and community kitchen – all contained under an undulating, floating roof composed of multicoloured sugary tiles.
Our farmers’ market would provide residents of Gingerbread City access to fresh, locally sourced produce, whilst our community kitchen offers team building with social purpose bringing people together to cook, laugh and learn while creating healthy hearty meals for homeless and vulnerable people – much like social enterprise Cook for Good, for whom Holland Harvey is currently designing a dedicated premises on a housing estate in north London.
A true community asset and beacon of healthy eating in an otherwise sugar-laden environment!

Absolutely thrilled that our scheme for two new build houses in Westminster was unanimously approved by planning committee this week with “particular praise for the quality of design and use of land”. The scheme occupies a previously unused gap between two Victorian terraces and will provide much needed family housing in the borough.
