Farmer J

London, UK

Our longstanding relationship with Farmer J spans ten restaurant locations across London, with several more in development—including their first international venture opening in New York City in late 2025.

As design partners, we have evolved the Farmer J brand experience through each new location, proactively guiding their design towards a refined, sustainable aesthetic reflective of the quality and provenance of their food offering. Beginning with traditional briefs, our material palette has progressively embraced circular and sustainable products such as Smile Plastics, innovative seaweed-based lighting from Ty Syml, and bespoke joinery crafted by the social enterprise RAW Workshop.

Our adaptability to diverse, often challenging spaces demonstrates a balance of technical expertise and contextual sensitivity. From reimagining heritage settings such as a former bank in Holborn or Victorian architecture in Bloomsbury, to creatively activating railway arches at London Bridge, office buildings in Farringdon and Victoria, and prominent retail spaces on Regent Street, our design approach consistently respects and enhances local character.

Through thoughtful evolution and sustainable innovation, we've supported Farmer J in using design as a powerful expression of their brand values.
